BrightPath explores a simple architectural shift: separate device behavior from the human interface used to operate it.

The goal is to support better HIDs and more flexible interaction without requiring device manufacturers to redesign behavior for every interface.

The Problem

Today, device behavior and interface are often designed as one tightly coupled system.

That can make every new human interface a new engineering problem.

A visual display, speech interface, braille interface, service tool, QA tool, specialized controller, or future HID may each require additional design and integration work.
